Recent research has reported excellent agronomic and pharmaceutical characteristics of hemp (Cannabis
sativa L.). The hemp plant Cannabis sativa L. naturally contains a number of different cannabinoids that are related to
the elementary chemical structure of cannabinol. From the cannabinol, two major cannabinoids including cannabidiol
(CBD) and tetryhydrocannabinol (THC) could be obtained by a conversion. Cannabidiol (CBD) has substantial
therapeutic potential, but its development as an effective drug has been hindered by intrinsic characteristics such as
low bioavailability, low water solubility, and poor pharmacokinetics. Furthermore, the content of CBD is poor in various
hemp. Several studies, therefore, has been reported for enhancing the content of CBD with reduced THC content.
In this work, a novel formulation has been developed to overcome the issues with CBD,
