Recent research has reported excellent agronomic and pharmaceutical characteristics of hemp (Cannabis sativa L.). The hemp plant Cannabis sativa L. naturally contains a number of different cannabinoids that are related to the elementary chemical structure of cannabinol. From the cannabinol, two major cannabinoids including cannabidiol (CBD) and tetryhydrocannabinol (THC) could be obtained by a conversion.
